About center:
The Center for Technological Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development is a space that brings together modern opportunities in entrepreneurship, technology, innovation, and engineering. The center consists of several key directions that form an integrated ecosystem. Its goal is to promote the realization of innovative ideas, foster an entrepreneurial culture, integrate modern technologies into the university’s educational programs, and engage young people in entrepreneurial and innovative activities. Its work is focused on supporting innovative projects, aiming to strengthen Georgia’s technological ecosystem and encourage participation in global innovation processes.
Center activities:
- Hackathons and Makeathons – Practical opportunities to express and implement innovative ideas, where participants work on real challenges; 50+ events have been held in this area.
- Trainings and Seminars – Deepen knowledge in modern fields under professional trainers; 15+ different training courses are offered. Consultations – Assistance and guidance in various areas, such as preparing grant applications for startup competitions, forming technological, innovative, engineering, and entrepreneurial student clubs, and supporting student projects, etc.
- Startup Competitions – Opportunities to participate in local and international innovation platforms to showcase your ideas.
- Prototyping Sessions at FABLAB – Transform ideas from concept to real products using modern technologies; over 300 startups have been created.
- Pre-Acceleration Programs – Provide startups with essential skills and resources, helping refine business ideas and make them market-ready.
- Networking and Collaboration – Connections with international experts, mentors, and organizations, strengthening the innovation ecosystem.
